Chicago is no city to mess around with when it comes to cold weather. That’s why you won’t see any cute bomber jackets or leather blazers in today’s roundup. A girl’s got to be realistic! When hunting for a Fall coat (yes, there are winter coats, too!), I look for longer length coats that fall right around the knee. I’ve always loved a good collar and even a fur detail, but I also love the clean and minimalistic styles that are popping up this year. They allow you not only to brave the Windy City, but look chic while doing so.
When buying a staple, I generally like to go with a solid color and in a neutral, so that I can mix and match it with all of my outfits. But, that plaid coat caught my eye and is so very Fall! It’s a less expensive version of this coat from Intermix and such a steal! Every coat in today’s roundup is under $500 and most under $250!
