Labor Day weekend always comes with sweltering heat and temperatures that make you beg for cooler weather. Fall, somehow, almost immediately arrives after the long weekend and everyone sighs a big sense of relief. I went berry picking on Sunday and came home with a pallet of fresh raspberries and blackberries. I came out cut, poked and scratched from the thorns, but all in the name of berry cobbler. I spent the same evening baking, a cool breeze blowing through the kitchen and I immediately craved warm and cozy nights at home. My wardrobe is slowly beginning to transition along with the weather. I took advantage of some amazing sales and slowly, but surely, my fall wardrobe is growing with new pieces. Like this entire outfit. Excluding my shoes and purse, this entire outfit cost under $100. I feel like accessories are worth the splurge and I tend to hold on to them much longer than some of my clothes. But, oh I love the color of these pants and everything about them. Wide-leg, high-waisted and the perfect rust color. Paired with a casual denim shirt and a jeweled belt, this look is comfy, chic and will take me from day to night. A sleek pony tail let’s you focus on the details on the outfit and is simple and no-fuss when running out the door.

What I’m Wearing: Asos Wide Leg Pants | Banana Republic Denim Shirt | Anthropologie Jeweled Belt|Gucci Leather Wedges | Alberto di Cania Purse
