I couldn’t be more thrilled that it’s Friday and another summer weekend is here! After yesterday’s temporary display of fall weather, I’m holding on to whatever is left of summer. Even though I’ve already started shopping for my fall wardrobe, but that’s neither here nor there. For now, I’ve got summer on my mind and weekend plans. Low-key weekends are my favorite. With trips to the market, some much-needed girl time, hanging out at the shop and eating delicious home-cooked meals. Un-rushed, no must-do’s…just simple and unpretentious. I plan on picking up a few more gorgeous sunflowers for our home, too!

Speaking of home, I have decided to switch things up in the living room. Again. I’m not sure what it is. I get bored easily. I find too many amazing pieces that spark infinite ideas for new color schemes and layouts that are begging to be lived in. A new rug, new chairs. Possibly even new curtains. I like change. It’s going to be a much different look than our first home tour. Remember this? I’m looking to edit, much like my wardrobe, and be selective of each piece. I’ll be out vintage hunting most of Saturday morning since pieces are flying out of the shop. Which means more a-mazing pieces for our home and for the shop! Yesss.

I’ve been wearing this color combo on repeat all summer long and it makes me long for my intense tan that has long since faded away. If I could just find a way to package up that Mediterranean tan and bring it out for special occasions. These simple white shorts are a perfect length and are so incredibly comfortable. I paired them with my newest summer knit from zara. The cable-knit is so light and it feels so good on your skin. I absolutely love the color and the added texture. To dress the outfit up, I added my chunky-heeled sandals with a snakeskin detail and this Italian hard-leather purse that will be going well into my fall wardrobe. I’m a sucker for hard leather handbags. My staple silver jewelry brought my look together. This entire outfit took me from day to night but would easily work well with a pair of gladiators for a more chill vibe.

What I’m Wearing: Express Shorts | Zara Cableknit Top | Vintage jewelry | Chloe Sunglasses| Tahari snake-skin sandals
