Good Morning! Did you all have a wonderful holiday weekend? For those of you that celebrated, Happy Easter!

This weekend was extremely productive and I managed to squeeze in a bit of fun. I’m finally starting to feel like myself again. Slowly but surely! I spent extra time with friends, got my zen on at a bright and early yoga class and was treated to a facial at George The Salon which I’ll be sharing later this week. I also managed to squeeze in an afternoon at my mom’s, which always makes me feel better! Nothing like some quality family time.

It started to finally feel like Spring this weekend, too. My mood immediately changes with warmer temps and sunshine and I’ve been excited to start building a wardrobe for the upcoming months. You guessed it, a lot of neutrals. Blush pinks, ivories and pale blues. I recently collaborated with Banana Republic on adding a few fresh pieces for Spring. By the way, have you seen their new Spring collection? I loooove what they are doing, I even went this weekend to pick up a few more staples (they are having a major sale right now!) This polka dot sweater is light enough to layer and goes with just about anything. I especially love it paired with this pink coat I recently bought (for under $50!) Pink and polka dots? Never thought I would say this…but, yes please! I threw on my trusty pair of skinny jeans and boots for those windy, Chicago days and I was ready for a morning of running errands and lunching.

And yeah, how about those curls? You all seemed to love them on Instagram which makes me super happy because this hairstyle saves me a TON of time. Not to mention, they last for a few days! In other words, expect to see more of them!

I’ve been trying to be more organized when it comes to building my wardrobe and it helps curb on impulse buys which I’m notorious for. However, I still look forward to the spontaneous find and some of my best pieces have happened that way. I’d love to know how you transition your wardrobe for Spring and Summer? Do you have a plan on what you need to purchase or do you buy whatever catches your eye?

Banana Republic provided free product in exchange for this post. All opinions expressed are my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that keep this blog going!
