Artist Feature: Amy Judd

Miscellaneous

Did you all have a wonderful weekend? The weather was amazing and we took every chance to be outside and enjoy it!

Today, I’m sharing with you a new artist I came across when hunting for art for our master bedroom. Amy Judd. She’s a London-based artist and I can’t get enough of her work. Her bio mentions that her work is strongly based on traditional mythologies and folklore.

While all of her pieces are feminine, there is a boldness to each painting. Her work is a bit dark, ethereal and mysterious. I love that no painting has a face and yet is still seductive. The colors are in neutral palettes that envelop you with a soothing effect. I feel they would add soft and quiet moments to any room they are placed- you can’t help but wonder the story behind each painting…
