5 Things I’m Loving This Valentine’s

Miscellaneous

It’s Valentine’s Day!

I get it, not everyone’s fond of the holiday, especially those that might not have someone special in their lives at the very moment. But you don’t have to be in a relationship to enjoy the amorous notion of the day. There’s tons of love to be spread around and if you’re single, then treat yourself with some TLC or grab your girlfriends and make a fun day out of it. You don’t need a +1 to enjoy the festivities.

On that note, I thought I would share with you five things I’m loving today (besides the hubs)…

{This amazing cranberry cobbler with candied flowers and pine cone ice cream from Cafe des Architectes in Sofitel Chicago. I dream of this dessert and I was so bummed to hear they changed their pastry chef. So no more for me! }

{I decided to go floral today in deep hues of crimson and eggplant with pops of magenta in this Leith floral belted dress. And you bet I’m wearing my Roman Holiday lip color from Nars, shown here}

{And finally remembering that there’s love all around us…}

As far as our Valentine’s plans…I surprised Petar this morning with banana E-clairs and brought apricot and raspberry kolachki’s for the office today from Cafe Selmarie. They were delicious! Petar will be working late so we will be celebrating this Saturday instead. I actually don’t mind. We have a feast planned and we won’t be in any rush so we can enjoy to the max.

What are your big plans in honor of cupid?

Xx
