Well, hey there Monday! Back at the weekly grind. Did you all watch the Oscars last night? Yaaassss #teamleo. Finally, am I right?! I had the best at-home spa night while watching and lusting after some major fashion on the red carpet. My top five best-dressed? Cate Blanchett, Olivia Munn, Charlize Theron, Jennifer Lawrence and Rachel McAdams. A few of my other faves? Olivia Wilde’s dress was pretty fabulous, too and I was obsessed with her choker; Priyanka Chopra in all white;Charlotte Rampling- what a stunning woman; and of course, Lady Gaga looked fantastic and I absolutely loved that she wore a pant suit. Not to mention, how powerful was her performance? Chills.
So, I should probably start a #365daysofcashmere because my collection keeps growing and growing. I wasn’t joking when I said I wanted to fill my closet with cozy goodness. I spotted this color combo on Rue Magazine a while back and have been on the hunt ever since for the perfect shade of blue to wear with my olive green pants. For someone who doesn’t wear a ton of color, this blue fits right into my comfort zone. I paired my leopard booties for a bit of pattern and as we’ve already established….leopard is a neutral. My camel leather purse brings this outfit full circle and surprisingly, all these different colors work great together. Not to mention, they are all still muted, subtle and frankly, neutrals. This outfit would look just as good with a pink top, too! I might have to try that out with my new sweater from Banana. While I’m ready to ditch the winter clothes for some new Spring garb, I’m holding on just a bit longer to some cozy outfits.
